Weiler has been sailing for 50 years and has been a broker for 10 yrs, so he has personally encountered just about any situation and challenge dealing with yachts. He is a Certified Yacht Broker, is past president of the Gulf Coast Yacht Brokers Association and has a vast number of connections in the trade, including mechanics, documentation services,electricians, general maintenance, etc, etc.
He was with me at every step of the way. Whatever issue we found he solved through his extensive network. He had satisfactory answers to all my inquiries.Capt Weiler negotiated the deal for me and it was straight forward; no BS. It was a win-win outcome and I got the price I wanted.
Capt. Weiler was accessible all the time, returned my calls in a timely fashion and anticipated whatever was to come down the road, so we were always prepared; no surprises.I was impressed with Capt. Rick Weiler, not only with his effectiveness and expertise, but even more pleased with his integrity and his reputation.
The sailboat I chose had many issues (which I knew before I bought), Capt Weiler helped me coordinate and resolve all of them. He had many opportunities to profit from me, yet he was most interested in my satisfaction and placed my welfare and interests above his. He is strictly honest and truthful. Although he mostly deals in very expensive yachts he treated me as if I were a VIP , even though my catamaran is only 35 ft
He has also continued to help me with wise advice and referrals after the sale.So in summary, I rate Capt Rick Wiler and Little Yacht Sales as exceptional, for making a pleasant experience of the purchase of my boat.
