I feel for a first boat purchase, we were really lucky to find someone like Rusty. He was very helpful and informative, as well as being organized and on time with all of our appointments. Throughout the process there were many different people involved and Rusty always managed to bring in the best. Our inspector Lou, was incredibly thorough and extremely knowledgeable about boats. The mechanic Will was able to install the parts we needed to get the boat up to speed and even came back to make another repair after the purchase. He was so professional and reasonable that I will use him for all of our mechanical needs. Captain Scott was also great at handling the boat and explain what to watch for. Even Rusty’s recommendation for financing and who to go to was a success. After our purchase, Rusty has written to check in on us and reminds us that he is there to answer any questions…. and he has been! I realize too that with Rusty comes the best of the best and we now know a team of people we can trust which is huge in the sailing world. Especially for those of us that are new to this lifestyle. I feel like there are many who would look to take advantage but Rusty has surrounded himself with people you can count on. Just a few months in the boaters world and I have heard horror stories about lackluster brokers…. that’s not an issue with Rusty!
